Student Representative Council

As the name shows, Student Representative Council (SRC) is a bridge between students and the administration. They represent us, the students. The point is, we want someone who can negotiate, brave and brilliant to represent us. People who can make things done. People who talk the talk and walk the walk. Poeple who come out with problem solving instead of whining.

Being a student, we should be responsible of our action. We are responsible of choosing our representative. If we do not, we are the one who suffers the consequences. We are the one who will be unsatisfied. We are the one who will be whining over things that are out of our control.

Be wise. Stand up for your right. Stand up for a better future. Vote for your representative.

In my humble opinion, being SRC does not make anyone more powerful. Yes, you have more responsibilities but it does not allow you to be such an arrogant or an asshole. It also does not make you more special or better than others. You are still a student who need to attend classes and complete assignments on time. And the most important thing is, you made your promises. Fulfill it.

I hope there will be good leaders in the coming SRC election. If they are not good by default, I wish them to get better and better as time goes by.

All the best for this coming SRC election.
